April

Breakfast at the Virgin River to celebrate Grandpa and Grandma's 64th anniversary!! GG headed back home after breakfast. We had such a nice time during their stay!

 Washing the car before church

We started to take advantage of the blessing we have in the Club House! It is rather surreal to live here sometimes!

Clark County Fair. Seemed so odd to have the fair be in April, but it was a hot day! We went with our friends - Miss Ashley, Olivia, and Grant. They had so many awesome things for the kids to do and see. It was very impressive!!

Carson, you really wanted to spend some of your own money on some Kettle Corn for everyone to share! This is the kind, thoughtful heart that I love about you!

Daddy took you guys to the rec center to try out racquet ball and to play some basketball!

A gift from Papa and Nana!

Easter Egg hunt at Marilyn Park! Daddy told you all to run to the back as fast as you could and not waste your time w the eggs in the front. Haha! You all did it and ended up with quite a few eggs!

After our Easter egg hunt, we headed out on a hike. You kids ended up playing in the Virgin River. The water was nice and warm! So strange to us, coming from Oregon. You also got to shoot the new BB gun that dad got.

 Easter morning :)
Daddy hung up your quilts that Aunt Nancy made for you on Easter.

It has been so awesome to watch the desert come to life in the spring!

The library had a function where you got to make caterpillars and bird feeders. Then they had snacks for you afterward!

Cars, when we got home you made a lizard box! How cute!!

 April 30th, 2014 - you are a big 4 year old today!!

You and Austynn made Pais cards and gave her some more money! Austynn wrote the numbers to 100 and you wrote them, counting by 2s :)

We went to McDonald's to have birthday breakfast - can you believe they happened to be cleaning the play structure, so you couldn't play.
That's ok! We went to the park instead!
Carson you got Paislee a Nerf gun

March

Dad started March off with working on a spot for our garden!

It is so cool to see the birds in our trees when the leaves are gone!

Carson, you had your first day of soccer practice today!
Here you are after your game, with our friend's the Nuefield's.

Oh, man, I have so much trouble being stuck in the house for school when it is so lovely outside! During the winter our backyard doesn't get a ton of sun, so we take school out front!

Carson, you and Austynn made Paislee multiple birthday cards all month long! You were both so excited about her birthday. These cards and money were given to her in the middle of March! :)One of your strengths, Cars, is a definite heart to give to others!

The homeschool kids all gathered at Miss Kristy's house for a time to recite memorization in front of others.
 Mary Poppins! You loved it!

Dad had a meeting in Las Vegas, so we got to go with him. A definite perk to home schooling is flexibility! We went to this park while he was in the meeting. When he was done, we headed to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. We are so enjoying all the new found beauty this area provides!

I love how excited you get about gardening! You have also always really liked to cook!

How cool!! Grandpa and Grandma drove all the to Mesquite to spend some precious time with us! We met them at Peggy Sue's for lunch. What a memorable time we shared together!

After the Saturday morning soccer games, we headed to check out Zion National Park (we LOVED it!). We also hit Bryce Canyon, which was spectacular, as well.

Carson you lost a tooth at our ice cream stop in Zion! I think we lost it in the car on the way home! :(

We saw dear, big horned sheep, and buffalo!

Carson, you and Grandpa spent about an hour reading through science books, while the girls napped.
We watched a 3D movie that night :)
