December

What a month! So many new and exciting things happened, but it was quite the ride.

Dad took you kids down to Medford to see Mimi while I went through the apt, preparing for the movers to come. Cars Paul, you stayed in Medford for a few weeks with Mimi, waiting for daddy to pick you up and for your journey to Mesquite to begin!
These pictures are to show just how gross our time in our apartment were! This is all garbage! AMAZING what can accumulate in just a few months!

Our new house!! One of our neighbors surprised us and paid to have our yard cleaned up! It was a mess before with leaves everywhere!! Such a kind gesture!
You went to school and enjoyed your special time in Medford with Mimi! You even got lots and lots of snow to play in!!

Yay!! My, Carsie boy, dad, and the dogs all arrived safely! Better get that carpet torn out!

We discovered we have parachuters that land behind us. That was a cool first!
First hike out in the desert! We are having fun exploring our new terrain!

You did very well while I painted! You even did some school work and journaling most days.

Dad's hospital - Mesa View Regional Hospital

Your room colors!
Amazingly, Santa did come to our new home! Christmas Eve was the first night we slept in our new house. No pillows or blankets! We returned our rental van Christmas Eve, ate at Taco Time, got to our home late, and then prepared Christmas for you sugars! :)-

 Enjoying the Nevada sun begins!!

Love this one - P is all wrapped around you and the dogs are cuddled with A :)
Making progress - woo-hoo! You have one awesome room!

Another first - realizing the sunsets are amazing!

Yay! Mimi comes for a visit! Our first company. The house was a disaster and nothing unpacked. Mimi worked and unpacked, cleaned, organized the kitchen!!

November

The beginning of November was a bit crazy! Mom was headed to Nevada (to find us a new house in Mesquite!) on Austynn's birthday, and you 3 kids came down with the flu that week! So, no school for any of you, and I still couldn't get you healthy before you went to Papa and Nana's :(
Cars, you spent some of your birthday money on Legos. You have always been such a little builder!
  Bring on the boxes!
Papa took you to Prineville on Austynn's birthday.
Here is the house that mommy found while in Mesquite. We are still working on closing on it, but so far, so good. We will have movers come 12/2 or 12/3 and the girls and I will fly down right around that time. Lots of home projects to start us off with - new flooring and fixtures. Dad and you will arrive the 10th or 11th. You get to stay with Mimi the 1st week of December, while dad finishes up at McKenzie-Willamette.
Carson, when my plane landed (into Medford bc Eugene was too foggy) this is the picture that daddy sent me :) He said you were so brave to let him just continue to yank until he got it out. What fun! 11.10.13
The next day you mentioned another loose tooth and before I knew it, you had that baby gone! Your smile is awesome right now! 11.11.13

Daddy spent the day with you on Tuesday the 26th. Such a great daddy, you have! This was his first official day off for Thanksgiving week. He met you and Austynn for pizza lunch at the school, picked you up, and got you some treats!! Daddy time is so fun!

Your last day at Eugene Christian School was Wednesday, November 27th - the day before Thanksgiving. You went for half day, and got to say all your good-byes. We are excited to move, but it is always so hard to say good bye! What a great school and fantastic teachers (Mr. McCallen and Mrs. Callahan) you were able to enjoy! We will trust the Lord for our new chapter in life!

After school we headed to Papa and Nana's for Thanksgiving!
