November

The beginning of November was a bit crazy! Mom was headed to Nevada (to find us a new house in Mesquite!) on Austynn's birthday, and you 3 kids came down with the flu that week! So, no school for any of you, and I still couldn't get you healthy before you went to Papa and Nana's :(
Cars, you spent some of your birthday money on Legos. You have always been such a little builder!
  Bring on the boxes!
Papa took you to Prineville on Austynn's birthday.
Here is the house that mommy found while in Mesquite. We are still working on closing on it, but so far, so good. We will have movers come 12/2 or 12/3 and the girls and I will fly down right around that time. Lots of home projects to start us off with - new flooring and fixtures. Dad and you will arrive the 10th or 11th. You get to stay with Mimi the 1st week of December, while dad finishes up at McKenzie-Willamette.
Carson, when my plane landed (into Medford bc Eugene was too foggy) this is the picture that daddy sent me :) He said you were so brave to let him just continue to yank until he got it out. What fun! 11.10.13
The next day you mentioned another loose tooth and before I knew it, you had that baby gone! Your smile is awesome right now! 11.11.13

Daddy spent the day with you on Tuesday the 26th. Such a great daddy, you have! This was his first official day off for Thanksgiving week. He met you and Austynn for pizza lunch at the school, picked you up, and got you some treats!! Daddy time is so fun!

Your last day at Eugene Christian School was Wednesday, November 27th - the day before Thanksgiving. You went for half day, and got to say all your good-byes. We are excited to move, but it is always so hard to say good bye! What a great school and fantastic teachers (Mr. McCallen and Mrs. Callahan) you were able to enjoy! We will trust the Lord for our new chapter in life!

After school we headed to Papa and Nana's for Thanksgiving!

October

Carson, you were the person of the week for your class at the beginning of the month :)
Grandparent's Day and Eugene Christian School!

 Carson, you recited a poem!

I went shopping before heading to Mesquite, NV for daddy's interview. Grandma was so gracious and watched you guys. She had spaghetti going by the time I got back. How nice!!
Daddy and I got into Las Vegas late Thursday evening, before his interview on Friday.

We stayed Thursday night and Friday night in Mesquite and then stayed at the Paris on Saturday night.
You 3 kids (and 2 dogs!) all got to stay with Mimi! She took you to do many fun things!! You really enjoyed all the pumpkin patch festivities. Just missed Grandpa so much!!! :(

When we got home, I got a phone call saying that Carson had won Grand Prize on the coloring contest and Austynn had won 1st prize! Awesome!! We got $80 in credit to Detering. Perfect, because we needed some more delicious apples!

That weekend we went over to Prineville because you had a few days off of school and daddy had too much work to do! We went for a drive with Papa on Friday, as Nana was working.

On Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch in Terrebonne - lovely setting, lots of people

Carson, you moved a lot of rock with Papa! Papa was building a wall to keep the property from washing out when the water gets high. You are one great worker!

Uncle Timmy came on Sunday and we enjoyed a good meal and some pie to celebrate Papa's 59th birthday
The bike path that we took endless times while in the apartment!!

Carson, your class performed at chapel :)
Mimi came to celebrate Austynn's birthday
You got to decorate cupcakes and eat goodies!!

Carson, your class went to Lone Pine Farms for your field trip. Beautiful, crisp day!

That night dad carved a pumpkin with you guys. Austynn drew the eyes, Paislee did the nose, Carson did the mouth and C and A each did an ear. Pretty spectacular :)

 Happy Halloween, Grandma!
